Blaine Hogan (Alumnus)
Karl in Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage
Blaine originated the role of Karl in the stage adaptation of Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage. He has been seen as Launcelot Gobbo in in The Merchant of Venice and as Dromio of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors both at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. He starred as the title role in Hedwig and the Angry Itch and as Rick in the regional premiere of Bat Boy (Phoenix Theatre). Other regional credits include: Tybalt/Paris in Romeo and Juliet and John in The Lion in Winter (Indiana Repertory Theatre); Rolf in The Sound of Music (Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre); Snoopy in Snoopy! (Edyvean Repertory Theatre). Blaine has many commercial, industrial and voice-over credits to his name, and his recent film, The Letter, is currently touring the independent film circuit. Blaine guest starred on Fox TV’s Prison Break and continues to star in the short film series Starving Jesus. Blaine graduated from Butler University, Indianapolis with a BA in Theatre Performance and is currently attending seminary at Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle, Washington where he is majoring in Theology.
